Dry taps anticipated at Free State hospital─── 13:14 Sun, 08 May 2022
Some parts of the Free State, including the Mofumahadi Manapo Mopeli regional hospital in Qwaqwa, can expect dry taps until further notice.
De Bult will also be affected by the situation.
This is due to an obstruction of access to fix the water supply system.
A concrete block is obstructing access to a badly damaged and leaking 250 mm pipe
Kelopile Mongake, Maluti-A-Phofung Water spokesperson, told OFM News that water tankers will be dispatched to the affected areas to supply the community with water until such time that the concrete block has been removed, and MAP Waters's technicians gain physical access to fix the pipe.
She adds MAP Water would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
