The North West Department of Education Education has requested the public to assist the Deelpan community following massive floods in the area last month.
The Education spokesperson in North West, Elias Malindi, says residents of Deelpan are extremely affected by the floods which destroyed their houses.
He says that they lost all their belongings which includes clothes, furniture, and live stock. Malindi says the department will appreciate any donations that will make a difference to the lives of residents from Deelpan.
"Members of the public are requested to deliver their donation of clothes to the Department of Education Offices, near to them or deposit them to the Office of Dr S. Mvula in Garona Building, West Wing on First Floor or call (018) 388 3411.
"The donations can be sent on or before Wednesday, 25 May 2022," he concluded.
