The bodies of three unknown men were found in an open veld on Saturday.
According to police spokesperson Thabo Covane, police in the Mangaung Metro have launched a manhunt for any suspects involved in the murder of the three unknown men.
Their bodies were found near an intersection of the N6 National Road and R702 Road.
They had been shot several times in the head, neck and upper body.
He added that two of the victims were still tied up with shoe laces, while a third one’s tie was already loose.
“Bullet cartridges and motor vehicle tracks on the scene indicate that the victims were transported there and their lives ended at the scene.”
