Four men who were arrested by the Evaton police in the Vaal Triangle on Friday for drug trafficking will soon appear in court.
Their arrest followed a tip-off by community members, who also pointed out the houses where the drugs as well as illegal cigarettes were being sold.
The total estimated value for the drugs and illegal cigarettes is R85 000.
Sedibeng District Commissioner, Major General Zodwa Molefe, strongly encouraged community members to come forward with any information about criminal activities within their neighbourhoods so that the police can investigate the perpetrators and arrest them.
