Kleinzee police are investing two murder cases following a shootout at Kleinzee mine last night.
It is reported that a body was found lying on the scene this morning at 01:20, and was declared dead by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel.
Northern Cape police spokesperson Sergio Kock confirms to OFM News that a case of murder has been opened, and Kleinzee police are investigating the matter.
In the second incident an unknown male was reportedly shot dead by mine security in Kleinzee last night around 21:30.

The police attended a complaint at the Port Nolloth Hospital, after an unknown man was admitted with fatal injuries he allegedly obtained at the De Beers Mine in the Kleinzee area.
