North West police in Leshobo village in Taung have retrieved the body of a man from a cave.
This is after a trainee 68-year-old traditional healer allegedly fell and hit a rock while performing rituals.
It is alleged that the trainee's lifeless body was found by his trainer lying face down.
North West police spokesperson, Amanda Funani, confirmed the incident to OFM News and said an inquest was opened and police investigations are underway.
This is the second incident where a trainee traditional healer died in the area performing rituals.
