Motorists urged to collect their impounded vehicles─── 13:25 Thu, 23 Jun 2022
Motorists whose vehicles have been impounded are encouraged to retrieve their vehicles as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in the disposal thereof.
In a notice, the Free State Provincial Government told motorists who owns impounded vehicles to collect them as soon as possible from their local police station or the licensing and testing centers of the Department of Police, Road and Transport (DPRT).
According to Hillary Mophethe, spokesperson for the DPRT, motorists who are unable to pay their fines can make arrangements at the relevant licensing and testing centers. The Provincial Government will dispose of vehicles whose owners fail to retrieve them by 12:00 on Friday 1 July 2022.
