The SIOC Community Development Trust (SIOC-CDT) has delivered almost 5,500 sanitary products across 15 schools in the Northern Cape.
According to the Managing Director of the Blossom Care Solutions, Shamiela Sarlie, who are part of the initiative, the focus includes education and is aimed at providing young women with a greater understanding and knowledge of menstrual health in its entirety.
Furthermore, the SIOC-CDT has for the last few years been proactively involved in the procurement and distribution of female hygiene products across its beneficiary schools.
