Free State police are searching for leads after a body was found in a forest along the Sekoto River in Qwaqwa.
The body, which was found last week by people collecting wood, was in a state of decomposition, said police spokesperson Warrant Officer Mmako Mophiring.
"The upper body was dismembered. On the right hand, there were red, blue and white beads... An inquest case has been opened," said Mophiring.
