South African Deputy President, David Mabuza, is set for yet another return trip to the North West.
He embarks on the visit in his capacity as the chairperson of the presidential task team on military veterans. He will visit the Potchefstroom Army Support Base to engage with the Provincial Government and Military Veterans Associations.
According to the office of the presidency’s media liaison officer Sam Bopape, the follow-up meeting is in line with the directive by Deputy President Mabuza for the Presidential Task Team on Military Veterans to urgently return with the aim of finding lasting solutions to address challenges facing the military veterans.

Mabuza will visit the province on Tuesday 12 July. His visit also follows in the wake of a shooting incident in Ikageng where three officers were killed.
