The Fee State Provincial Government (FSPG), in partnership with the Central University of Technology (CUT), is inviting the youth to the second Free State Industry 4.0 summit.
The Office of the Premier's spokesperson, Palesa Chubisi, said the aim is to eradicate poverty and unemployment, as part of some of the commitments that were made in the State of the Province Address (SOPA).
Acting Vice-Chancellor and principal of CUT, Alfred Ngowi, explained that there are various partners who contributed to the success of the upcoming conference.
“Those who will be participating in the summit will make use of it as a networking opportunity, and discover how 4IR technologies can be deployed to enhance a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the youth. The benefits of this partnership will surely improve the cause of accessibility of new technologies that are being conceived. We are seeing how these new technologies are also creating opportunities that will stimulate the economic growth of the province.”
The summit will be held at the Central University of Technology's Bloemfontein campus, in the Boet Troskie Hall, on 21 and 22 July 2022 at 09:00.
