Irate members of the ANC, who yesterday successfully interdicted Interim Provincial Committee (IPC) members from voting at the ANC's ninth provincial conference underway in Rustenburg, have expressed that they are delighted about the outcome.

The spokesperson for the disgruntled members, Lopang Rothman, told OFM News Saturday morning that the decision by the North West High Court to not allow the interim structures to vote, is a victory for them.

The IPC has been leading the North West since the disbandment of the Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) back in 2018.

Rothman says the fact that the conference is organised by the interim structure while their time in office has lapsed, is a concern for them.

The disgruntled group are supporters of the former premier, Supra Mahumapelo.

OFM News has learned that members of the interim regional committee will also not vote.

The ANC's national spokesperson, Pule Mabe, has indicated that the conference will continue, with the party's legal team expected to look into the court verdict.
