It’s alleged that the two health workers fought over a patient while on duty last week Thursday. The provincial health spokesperson, Mondli Mvambi, tells OFM News the department is aware of the altercations between the two health workers and has since subjected the matter to the normal process of labour relations, where the department will listen to all those involved in the incident. He adds that no person should be judged without a fair hearing and each party will be allowed to respond to the evidence against them. Mvambi says since the incident, both health workers have been off sick.

Meanwhile, Free State police spokesperson, Peter Kareli, confirmed that both health workers have opened a case against each other and they’re expected to appear in the local court on Wednesday.
