Contact Centre call volumes are rapidly increasing while high fault numbers are leading to longer restoration times as technicians undertake to attend to all faults as soon as possible to limit customer inconvenience.

We ask customers to please be patient and wish to reassure them that all faults will be attended to with the required urgency.

In addition, customers are urged to stay clear of any damaged infrastructure and to report faults and unsafe conditions through one of Eskom’s customer self-service channels.

Electricity users are cautioned to treat all electrical lines, sockets, and appliances as live and dangerous.
