The party's newly elected Secretary-General (SG) Fikile Mbalula will on Saturday 7 January 2023 deliver a key note address at Paradise Hall in the Batho Location.

Tomorrow the much-anticipated January 8 Statement will be delivered by President Cyril Ramaphosa at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium during the party’s 111th anniversary celebrations.

The ANC was established in Bloemfontein in 1912.

During the week, there were different activities which formed part of the party’s build up toward tomorrow’s event.

This included President Ramaphosa’s visit to the gravesite of former ANC president ZR Mahabane in Kroonstad, and a golf session with local businessmen, among others.

The last session of the party’s elective conference, which was held in Mangaung with almost 3 000 ANC delegates from all over the country, was concluded this past week.

Ramaphosa has since stated that the party’s focus is now on renewing itself and becoming the mighty force that it has always been and to serve the country’s people.
