Free State dancers to take part in World Championships─── ZENANDE MPAME 11:23 Tue, 20 Jun 2023
Seven dancers from Welkom and seven from Bloemfontein have qualified to participate in the Disco Dance World Championship event in the Czech Republic.
These dancers are part of The Dance Connection studio which is based in Bloemfontein and Welkom.

The International Dance Organisation's Disco Dance and Disco Freestyle World Championship will take place from 22 to 25 June in Chomutov, Czechia.
The dancers and their two dance instructors left the country on 18 June.
“At The Dance Connection, everyone is buzzing with excitement and everyone is looking forward to showcasing their talent,” says Elize Cogle, dance instructor.
“We are looking forward to gaining the experience that we know we will get from this trip.”
Almost 3 000 dancers will compete to be crowned best in the world.
Chantel Greyling, one of the dance instructors, says: “We are excited to represent South Africa in the Czech Republic, and we want to bring it back and build from it and use it to become better dancers in the future.”
