This session is aimed at educating companies in and around Jan Kempdorp about the services needed by 93 Ammunition Depot – an army division of the SANDF.

It is also done to help the Northern Cape supplier base to grow and gain the necessary information on how to conduct business with the state.

They are seeking vendors for food, auto repair, plumbing, electrical work, and general services.

This is done to support the creation of jobs and ensure that the military unit allows local companies to provide services to satisfy their demands and support the local economy.

The SANDF facilities and units outside of Gauteng have long struggled to find and keep local vendors that would be interested in doing business with military forces.

This has been brought on by businesses' ignorance about the services needed by those units and the protocols that must be adhered to while serving the SANDF.
