Gauteng contractor allegedly awarded tender despite failure to deliver─── TSHEHLA KOTELI 09:44 Sun, 09 Jul 2023
Gauteng-based Ndhuna Civil Engineering Services has allegedly bagged a R134 million tender in North West, despite its failure to complete two other projects in the same province.
The DA’s Freddy Sonakile says the party is concerned by reports that the contractor has allegedly been appointed by the department of public works and roads, despite allegations that it has failed to complete two road projects in the province and was issued with notices of termination.
The latest project is worth R134 million, from the same department.
“According to these reports, Ndhuna Civil Engineering Services, who received contracts through a competitive process for road projects in Brits and Rustenburg that are still unfinished, has been allocated a fresh R134 million for road projects in Zeerust,” says Sonakile.
