A foreign national man (36) will appear in the Kuruman Magistrate's Court Monday morning (10/7) for possession of an endangered species under the National Environmental Management Biodiversity Act, 10 of 2004.

The man was arrested in Kuruman on Friday (7/7) after police received information about live pangolins that are kept at a cattle post in the Perth area in Heuningvlei.
The suspect gave the police permission to inspect the area and two pangolins were discovered by the police in an abandoned water crib.
