Five unknown armed suspects stole congregants’ valuables.
Jouberton police have launched a manhunt following an armed robbery at a church in Y100 Section, just outside Klerksdorp, on Thursday night (28/3), when five unknown armed suspects robbed congregants of valuables.
According to reports, one church member was outside on their phone when men wearing balaclavas ordered him back inside at gunpoint. The thieves then ordered the congregants to lie down, before searching them and stealing cash, handbags and cell phones. They fled the scene on foot.
The police have requested that anyone with information that can assist in the investigations to contact investigating officer sergeant Bantjies on 082 568 6086 or Crime Stop on ????08600 10111. Anonymous tip-offs can also be communicated via the MySAPS App.
