Mangaung Metro has warned that all roads around the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium in Rocklands, Bloemfontein, will be closed.
Metro Mayor Gregory Nthatisi will be delivering the state of the city address and table the 2025/26 annual budget.
Roads from Moshoeshoe to Tsekeletsa and from Moshoeshoe to Thakalekoane will be closed from 09:00 to 10:00 for the parade, said Mangaung spokesperson, Qondile Khedama.
All buses will be directed to drop people off at Mokoloko Street next to Mothusi Primary School. Tsekeletsa and Kgomo will be closed, as well as Mokoloko and Tsekeletsa Streets.
Traffic officials and other law enforcement agencies are on site to observe and control traffic in and around the area. Members of the public have been requested to use alternative roads during the closure.
Metro law enforcement will work closely with police to monitor and regulate the smooth flow of traffic, said Khedama. Mangaung apologised for the inconvenience caused.
