Motheo TVET College secures 11th consecutive Diamond Arrow Award─── REFILWE BEKANE 13:00 Fri, 29 Aug 2025

Motheo TVET College has once again been honoured with a Diamond Arrow Award, marking an unprecedented 11th consecutive year of recognition as the top-rated institution in its category.
The accolade was presented during the annual Business Excellence Awards Breakfast, held at the Kopanong Nokeng Country Lodge and Conference Centre on Thursday (28/8).
“This stands as a significant testament to the college’s ongoing commitment to excellence in education and leadership,” said college spokesperson Lame Morubane.
PMR.africa bestows the Diamond Arrow Awards according to the findings of a provincial survey that gathers opinions from respondents in a variety of industries.

Stakeholders from the government, industry and educational sector evaluate institutions based on a variety of factors, such as governance, quality, dependability and service provision.
“Motheo TVET College was once again rated as an outstanding training institution that demonstrates exceptional managerial capabilities and sound corporate governance, and is widely regarded as a highly trusted provider of technical and vocational education and training,” said Morubane.
During her acceptance speech, the principal, Prof Dipiloane Phutsisi, expressed gratitude and pride, attributing the success to the collective efforts of the entire college community.
Recognition ‘reaffirms college’s pivotal role’
Phutsisi emphasised the college’s ongoing success was a direct result of the team’s tireless efforts, innovation, and strong teamwork.
She extended her thanks to the college council, executive management, academic and support staff, and all stakeholders who contribute to the institution’s mission of delivering quality education and skills development
“The recognition reaffirms Motheo TVET College’s pivotal role in shaping the future of South Africa’s workforce and supporting national development goals through high-quality vocational training. The college continues to set the benchmark for TVET institutions, not only in the Free State province but nationally as well,” said Morubane.
