On Saturday the Knights fell short with a four-wicket defeat to the Dolphins on a tricky track in Durban.

The Warriors in their turn made a big statement by stunning the Titans with a four-run win according to the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method (DLS) at SuperSport Park.

The Knights will be without the services of Rudi Second for the clash and it is expected that he will be replaced in the match XI by Raynard van Tonder.

The Knights captain, Pite van Biljon, hinted that the seamers, Gerald Coetzee and Marco Jansen, can be on debut.

Of the two it is most likely that Coetzee will be first in line to debut as he was a part of the squad which traveled to Durban for the game against the Dolphins, and he has been in the system long that the tall Jansen, who only linked up with the side last week..

He is expected to replace Corné Dry in the team, while Ottniel Baartman could come in at the expense of Aubrey Swanepoel.

“Looking ahead at the next game we’ve got the Warriors in Kimberley. We’ve have had some success against them there, so hopefully, we can have a good game.

“There are a couple of new faces to come in again.

“We do have a couple of changes so it will be exciting to see that the youngster can do.”

The match XI will be finalised at the toss.

Tuesday evening’s match at the Diamond Oval in Kimberley gets underway at 18:00.
