It has been confirmed that motorsport will start again this week with the first race being confirmed for Saturday.
As with all other sporting codes, motorsport in South Africa has been in lockdown, however, on Friday it was confirmed the races may go ahead.
This weekend the proceedings will get underway with the South African Endurance Series at Zwartkops in Pretoria.
The 19-year-old Bloemfontein driver, Stuart White, who races for McLaren GT3 told OFM Sport that they are ready to get underway.
“For now we are just going to focus on the first race on the 25th of July, and then the second endurance race on the 15th of August.
“Then we are waiting for more races to be confirmed.
“Definitely happy to be back on the track and we are going to make the best of the season.
“Everyone in the team is ready to go, so we are definitely looking forward to it.”
White also races abroad in the French Formula 4 for Sauber.
