Du Preez joins the camp as a bowling specialist and consultant and will help prepare the national side ahead of their planned tour to England in September.

Du Preez, who coaches at the Knights and Free State, will be under Hilton Moreeng, who himself hails from the Bloemfontein-based team.

At this stage, it is uncertain whether or not Du Preez will only help out, or if he will be in it for the long-run.

Recently Du Preez was named as the head coach of the Athens Tiger for the Greek Premier League next year.
