The Knights will take on the Warriors in their opening match, and the Dolphins a week later at the Mangaung Oval.

Their first away game will come in round three when they travel to face the Lions.

The wicketkeeper, Wandile Makwetu, told OFM Sport that it helps to play on a pitch they are familiar with.

“We’ve worked really hard – the guys have put in hours-and-hours out on the training field and in the gym.

“We are looking forward to the start of the season.

“It will be nice to start at home, and to be able to play our first two games on a wicket that we are used to, and one that we have been training on for the past 12 weeks or so.”

The season is set to start in the first week of November.
