Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the IPL was delayed by a few months and has been moved to the United Arab Emirates.

The first match will feature the defending champions, the Mumbai Indians up against the Chennai Super Kings.

On Sunday the action moves over to Dubai when the Delhi Capitals will face the Kings XI Punjab.

Monday's game will also be played in Dubai when the Sunrisers Hyderabad take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The 2020 edition will prove to be somewhat of a leveler as only some teams will have a home base.

The Royal Challengers, the Capitals, the Super Kings, the Sunrisers, Kings XI, and the Rajasthan Royals will play around half of their group matches in Dubai, for the other two teams, that venue is Abu Dhabi.

Saturday's game gets underway at 16:00.
