Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Knights have enjoyed an extended preseason, but now they want to get out and play competitive cricket.

First up for the Knights will be the ever tricky Warriors who contracted the dangerous left-arm quick, Marco Jansen, during the offseason.

The Knights fast bowler, Gerald Coetzee, told OFM Sport that the Warriors will be a good test first up.

“We are very excited to get back on the park, that goes for the whole squad.

“I don't think that we could have prepared any better.

“We've put in all the hours and now it is just to go out there and to go and have some fun.

“Everyone is really keen and excited.

“The Warriors will be a great test, and our prep couldn't have been better.”

Play at the Mangaung Oval begins on Monday morning.
