Mothoa has been included in the squad that will travel to Johannesburg for the game against the defending champions.

Due to injuries, compassionate leave and a national call-up there are some new faces in the squad.

The newly appointed interim captain, Shaun von Berg, told OFM Sport that Mothoa is battling with a hamstring niggle at the moment.

“There is a couple of injuries floating around.

“Jacques Snyman is out with a broken toe, Alfred Mothoa is maybe also a hit-and-miss for the next game. He has a hamstring strain.

“Then Wandile Makwetu’s father passed away, so he is also out and not available for the next game.

“There are a couple of guys coming in and filling the spots in the side.”

Play at the Wanderers is scheduled to start at 10:00 on Monday morning.
