Raynard van Tonder - Knights

The VKB Knights batsman, Raynard van Tonder, is locked and loaded to make a return to the park on Friday in the opening game of the CSA T20 Challenge in Durban.

The Knights will be in action against the Titans.

Van Tonder has been out of action since fracturing his finger while in camp with the Proteas for the recent Test series against Sri Lanka.

Van Tonder told OFM Sport that he is ready and eager to get going tomorrow.

“It was very disappointing getting injured and missing a couple of games.

“It gave me time to reflect and it made me really excited to be a part of this T20 competition, especially with all the international players available for selection.

“It's a great opportunity for us as a team to show the country what we are really made of, especially because we've got a really strong squad.”

Play at between the Knights and Titans at Kingsmead is scheduled to get underway at 10:00 on Friday morning.
