The International Cricket Council is expected to announce that this year's ICC Twenty20 World Cup will be played in the United Arab Emirates.
India is set to play host to the tournament, but due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic which has crippled the country, the Board of Control for Cricket in India are ready to move the tournament.
Even though the tournament will be played in the UAE, the BCCI remains the host governing body of the event.
The remainder of the IPL is already set to take place in the UAE after the tournament was suspended earlier in the year.
The 2021 T20 World Cup is scheduled to be played in October.
