On Tuesday, the first match was washed out after the South African innings in which they scored 135/3 in their allotted 20 overs.

With two matches to go, the Proteas can win the series.

The Proteas skipper, Dané van Niekerk, said they're targeting a first-ever series win in the Caribbean.

“It didn't come off the bat like we wanted to. It was a bit slow as expected, but it was a good wicket," said Van Niekerk.

“It's the first game and we tried to see how the conditions played and we know we can plan ahead.

“It was a good hit out for the batters and there were a lot of positives even if it wasn't a full game.

“I enjoyed it, but now we can make plans now that we know what to expect.

“We just need to attack. T20 is all about aggressive mindset and we can make plans over what we saw on Tuesday and hopefully we can execute that.

“We want to win 2-0 from here, that's the goal. We'll regroup and focus on the next one.”

Play on Thursday gets underway at 20:00.
