Proteas sweat over Rabada's ankle─── MORGAN PIEK 08:17 Mon, 06 Sep 2021
The Proteas are sweating over the fitness of the seamer, Kagiso Rabada, ahead of tomorrow's 3rd and deciding One-Day International against Sri Lanka in Colombo.
Rabada managed to bowl just 6 overs during Saturday's 67-run win over Sri Lanka according to the Duckworth-Lewis method.
Rabada sprained his ankle during the match and was replaced by Beuran Hendriks.
Should Rabada miss the remaining ODI and T20 International series, he could be in jeopardy for the T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
On Saturday during the ODI, the South African management indicated that Rabada would be assessed overnight and an update on the injury would be provided.
Play in Tuesday's decider is scheduled to get underway at 11:00.
