On Wednesday the Knights beat the KZN Tuskers by 34 runs to earn a bonus point which may prove to be crucial, especially with rain in Bloemfontein.

This afternoon the Knights are set to face the Rhinos, while the Titans take on the Tuskers this morning.

The former Proteas, Farhaan Behardien, who scored 54* for the Knights on Wednesday said the bonus point is important.

“We got a couple wickets in the middle. Our spinners dried up their runs, the run rate climbed, the asking rate climbed and all of sudden the bonus point was in question.

“It was an unbelievable effort from our bowlers and our fielding unit was also good.

“We are very happy to come away with the bonus point win. There is a bit of rain about the next couple of day, so the bonus point is vital.”

Meanwhile, the Knights may bring in a change or two for Thursday after the in-form Rilee Rossouw injured a knee ligament in the game against the Tuskers.

The Knights do have the luxury of Raynard van Tonder at their disposal to cover for Rossouw.

If the weather permits, play is scheduled to start at 10:00 at the Mangaung Oval with the Titans up against the Tuskers, while the Knights set to face the Rhinos at 14:30.
