The weather around the country can however have a big impact on the round one fixtures.

A week ago, the Dragons were unfortunate not to qualify for the T20 Knockout final in Kimberley, but they still take a lot heart from their good campaign.

The Dragons Proteas allrounder, Senuran Muthusamy, told OFM Sport that they take confidence from their white-ball campaign.

“It was our first tournament playing together and it was great to learn about individuals and to see how people go about their business in a match situation.

“That was obviously T20 cricket and it was great getting into the semi-finals, even though we weren't able to get into the final.

“We can draw on a quite a bit of confidence going into the next format, although it is four-day cricket and things are completely different.”

Play at the Bullring is set to start at 10:00 tomorrow morning. In Bloemfontein the Itec Knights are scheduled to host the Paarl Rocks.
