The Tuskers head into the game with confidence following their resounding win over the Easterns Storm in round one.

For the Heat, it is their first game in the format of the season and they want to impress.

The Heat seamer, Beyers Swanepoel, told OFM Sport that it’s important to strike early.

“The preparation has been tough, but good for the first game here in Kimberley.

“We know that the Tuskers are one win and one game ahead of us. But that is definitely not going to make us stand back for them, especially here on our home ground.

“The first thing you want to do is make the biggest punch first up in the four days. If you can do that and stick to the basics and just 1% better than them, I think we can definitely pull it though.”

Play at the Diamond Oval gets underway at 10:00. Over in Potchefstroom the North West Dragons host the Itec Knights in Division 1.
