It's not all doom and gloom - Van den Bergh─── MORGAN PIEK 08:20 Thu, 27 Jan 2022
The North West Dragons will be targeting a first win Division 1 of the CSA 4-Day Series when they face the Paarl Rocks from Thursday at Boland Park.
After five games, the Dragons have found the going tough in the series, with four defeats and one draw.
The loaded Rocks team in their turn have also failed to impress following two defeats and three draws.
The seasoned North West batter, Nicky van der Berg, told OFM Sport that it’s important to put in their experience.
“For us now, it’s just to try and take as much learning from every game. Especially for the younger guys to grow and adapt their games to be in a position where they can really complete in four-day cricket at this level.
“It's definitely not all doom and gloom and it's definitely not all lost.”
Play in Paarl gets underway at 10:00.
