The Proteas Women have drawn the four-match One-Day International series against the West Indies.
On Thursday, the Proteas won the 3rd ODI at the Wanderers in Johannesburg by 96 runs.
The opening batter, Laura Wolvaardt, scored 117 runs to guide South Africa to 299/8 in their allotted 50 overs.
The captain, Suné Luus, in her turn contributed 56, while Chloe Tryon scored 43.
Shamilia Connell was the best bowler for the ladies from the Caribbean with 4/54 in her allotted 10 overs.
In reply, the Windies were bowled out for 203 in 44.4 overs with Kycia Knight who scored 69.
Shabnim Ismail was the chief destroyer for the Proteas with 4/37.
Wolvaardt speaks about getting her 3rd ODI century.
“It definitely wasn't the easiest innings ever,” said the batter about her solid innings.
“I thought that they bowled quite well up-front and I was a bit tentative outside the off-stump and almost nicked off a couple of times.
“I was really hot as well and I had to work hard to get singles. It was a big physical effort.
“I'm happy that I got to the hundred. It's been a while since I've scored one for South Africa, so to get there was just amazing.”
The 4th and deciding ODI at the Bullring will be played on Sunday.
