Rossouw has returned to the team following a stint with the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League.

The former Protea was hugely instrumental in the Knights' title success in the T20 Knockout at the start of the season.

Rossouw has not played for the Knights since then and he was most certainly missed in the batting line-up.

Knights interim coach, JP Triegaardt, told OFM Sport that Rossouw will add a lot of value.

“Once again it is also nice to have Rilee Rossouw back in the One-Day competition where his expertise will add a lot of value to the team.

“We have clear minds going into this One-Day Cup and we just want to make sure that we execute those plans during the tournament.”

The Knights open their campaign on Sunday against the Rocks in Paarl.
