The ITEC Knight seamer, Gerald Coetzee, looks forward to playing in the inaugural SA20 tournament next year.
The young fast bowler, who toured England with the Proteas in July for their historic 2-1 T20 International series win against the English will be playing for the Joburg Super Giants franchise.
Coetzee told OFM Sport that the SA20 is the perfect opportunity for young cricketers.
“Regarding the Super Kings, it's an honour,” said the exciting fast bowler.
“I speak for most, if not all the players, we are very excited. I think that the level of the cricket is very high and very competitive.
“All of us, especially the youngsters in South Africa, are going to grow and learn from playing in the SA20.
“It is exactly what we need in South Africa. So, I'm very excited about that and I'm really looking forward to the challenge.”
The aggressive seamer is one of only a handful of Knights to play in the tournament with the other being Rilee Rossouw and Migael Olivier who will play for the Pretoria Capitals.
