Rossouw scored back-to-back tons for South Africa as he led the team to 205/5 runs in their allotted 20 overs.
Rossouw smashed 7 fours and 8 sixes as he scored his highest-ever total of 109 runs for what was also only his second T20I ton. He managed this in just 56 deliveries.
Rossouw was well supported by the wicketkeeper, Quinton de Kock, who in turn hit 7 fours and 3 sixes in his knock of 63 runs.
Unfortunately, it was another innings for the out-of-form captain, Temba Bavuma, who managed just 2 runs off of six balls. Bavuma has now scored just 15 runs for South Africa in his last six matches (both T20 Internationals and One-Day Internationals).
With 2/33 in three overs, Shakib Al Hasan, was the pick of the Bangladeshi bowlers.
Litton Das was the only Bangladeshi batter to trouble the scorers with his knock of 34 runs as they were bowled out for 101 runs in 16.3 overs.
Anrich Nortje was the chief destroyer for the Proteas with outstanding figures of 4/10 in 3.3 overs. The spinner, Tabraiz Shamsi, was also in top form again with 3/20 during his compliment of 4 overs. Kagiso Rabada and Keshav Maharaj each chipped in with a scalp as well.
The win has seen the Proteas rise to the top of Group 2, but that is expected to change as India will face the Netherlands at the Sydney Cricket Ground in the next match of the doubleheader on Thursday.
The Proteas' next match at the T20 World Cup is on Sunday when they come up against India in Perth. This game is scheduled to get under way at 13:00.
