Instead of enforcing the follow-on the Knights had a bat again and declared their second innings on 321/4 after 54.4 overs. Forrester scored his maiden first-class century, with 127-runs, while Botha continued his purple patch with the bat by scoring 98, before being trapped lbw.
The Heat required a mammoth 556-runs in their second innings for the win, but were bowled out for 194.
This time Thomson was run out for 45-runs, while Oakes scored 41.
The allrounder, Matthew Pollard, was the Chief destroyer for the Knights with 5/43 in 19 overs for his first five-for in first-class cricket.
Piedt was among the wickets again with 3/72 in 30.5 overs to better his performance with the ball in the first innings.
Botha is the leading run-scorer after two rounds with 395-runs at an average of 197.50, while Forrester is in third, with exactly 300-runs at an average of 150.00. Piedt leads the wicket-taking charts with 11 sticks in four innings. Nipho Mpungose is in third with 9 wickets.
