The Knights needed just 129-runs in their second innings for the win, and they wasted no time on Saturday to record the win.

The Knights resumed their second innings at the Mangaung Oval on 57/0 with Jacques Snyman and Isaac Dikgale being the men at the crease.

Snyman went on to score 58 off 44 in his first game back since a brief spell at the Pretoria Capitals in the SA20. He was caught by Blayde Capell off the bowling of Khwezi Gumede.

Dikgale in turn enjoyed his best game at the Knights since joining from the Northern Cape Heat. He scored 53 not out off 63 to steer the Knights across the line, while the allrounder Dian Forrester was unbeaten on 10 off 20.

The Knights are now done with their round-robin games and it's a matter of waiting to see if they have done enough to reach the final.

The win has put the Knights in a strong position to reach the final and claim valuable points in their quest for promotion back up to Division 1.

The Knights appealed the draw against the Mpumalanga Rhinos in White River as it was due to human errors that they could not take to the field. The Knights are awaiting feedback from Cricket South Africa in this regard.
