The North West Dragons are confident that they can turn things around in the CSA T20 Challenge on Wednesday when they face Western Province in Cape Town.

The Dragons suffered back-to-back defeats on the weekend with a 13-run loss to the Titans in Pretoria, while on Sunday the Lions thumped them by 9-wickets in Potchefstroom.

The captain of the Dragons, Senuran Muthusamy, told OFM Sport that it’s not quite panic-stations yet.

“All our focus is on Wednesday and we are looking to put our best foot forward,” said the Proteas allrounder.

“We've got to find a way to play really good cricket for 40-overs and hopefully we can put in a complete performance. Hopefully we can really stand up and get some good momentum going into the week ahead.

“We're looking forward to it and the boys are really up for it. Like you said, it's still fairly early in the competition.”

Wednesday’s game in the shadows of Table Mountain gets underway at 18:00. At the same time the Dolphins will face the Lions at Kingsmead.
