Veteran actor Danny Keogh dies at 71

The cause of death is not yet known. Danny, who was previously married to actress Michele Burgers, was also the father of actor Tyrone Keogh.

Danny who was born in Kampala, Uganda, appeared in multiple South African TV series over decades, including Afrikaans language drama series and soaps like Binnelanders on kykNET. He was a founder member of The Market Theater in Johannesburg,South Africa and earned numerous award nominations for his theatrical career.

Mr Deaf South Africa returns home after winning world title

Mr Deaf SA Phumelela Mapukata has arrived home after being crowned the winner at the Mr Deaf World pageant in Mpumalanga. Twenty contestants from 11 countries competed for the title of Mr and Miss Deaf Worldin Mpumulanga on 19 July - the first time the pageant has taken place on South African soil. he arrived with Miss Deaf South Africa Lethiwe Ntaka who was crowned first runner-up and they both arrived at OR Tambo on Monday, following their success at the intentional pageant.
