South African golfer, Justin Harding, has earned an exemption to play in the US Open at Winged Foot Golf Club in New York next month.
Harding is one of ten players to have earned exemption based on the first five events of the European Tour's UK Swing series
This year the entire 144-player field for the major has been made up of players who earned exemption.
The other South Africans confirmed for next month’s major are Louis Oosthuizen, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Shaun Norris, Erik van Rooyen and JC Ritchie.
The 120th U.S. Open begins on 12 September at Winged Foot Golf Club West Course in Mamaroneck.
