Grace won by a single stroke at the Grand Reserve Country Club in Rio Grande for his first win of the season.

Grace carded a final round of six-under-par 66 to finish on 19-under to hold off the charge by Jhonattan Vegas.

An emotional Grace says he knew his day was with him in spirit.

“I just played the right shots at the right time.

“Got aggressive - you know my old man passed away not too long ago, he always said that I'm an aggressive player and he was watching over me. At the end of it, it was enough.

“It’s been a tough couple of months and with all the support back home with my wife, my son, my family and everybody back home and all that we have been through, you know, there is some light at the end of the tunnel.”

The win has moved Grace from 147th to 83rd in the world.
