Johannesburg - Tenor Jannie Moolman is recovering in hospital after an operation to his face, a spokesman said on Friday.
"He had a successful operation yesterday [Thursday] evening," Bernard Beukman said.
"Six bone fractures in his face were mended."
Moolman was injured at a restaurant in Hartbeespoort in the North West.
Beukman said the medical team had indicated there was no serious damage to his sinuses.
Doctors were satisfied with Moolman's progress. Earlier in the week he had a successful operational for a broken arm.
Beeld newspaper reported that Moolman had fallen from the second floor of a restaurant.
According to the report, the accident happened at a family friend's bachelor party.
Earlier in the week, Beukman said reports that "he had fallen from a roof -- due to the nature of his injuries -- cannot be accepted as the final conclusion".
He said the exact cause of his injuries was still unknown.
