Ramaphosa appoints Adv Batohi as new NPA boss─── 06:00 Wed, 05 Dec 2018
President Cyril Ramaphosa has named Adv Shamila Batohi as the new NPA head.
This comes a few weeks after the panel he appointed concluded interviewing 12 candidates for the job.
Five names were then forwarded to the president for him to make the final decision.
Batohi will start her duties on 19 February 2019.
She takes over from Shaun Abrahams, who quit after his appointment was declared invalid.
