On 16 November 2025, Mossel Bay buzzed with energy as NWK staff and board members took on the prestigious Ironman Challenge, aiming to help raise R1 million for Agri Securitas.
Agri Securitas is a trust fund dedicated to strengthening safety in South Africa’s farming communities.
Agri Securitas has committed to directing the funds raised back into North West, wherever possible. Every rand will go towards supporting the farmers, workers, and rural families who form the backbone of South Africa’s food system.
Founded by Agri SA, Agri Securitas works hand-in-hand with local farming unions and the South African Police Service to enhance rural safety. From crime-prevention initiatives to safeguarding critical infrastructure, the trust fund plays a vital role in protecting agricultural operations across the country.
